Terms and Conditions of NUGPay Application

These terms and conditions are the agreement between NUGPay application and users related to account registration (or) using NUGPay application and mobile wallet.

General

NUGPay is the efficient and secure mobile wallet under management of the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment (MoPFI), National Unity Government (NUG), that can be used anytime, anywhere with the internet to fulfill daily financial needs of the public.

DMMK is a fiat-backed national digital currency, issued by the National Unity Government, the only legitimate government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and operated by MoPFI’s authorized agents.

Digital Myanmar Kyat (DMMK) is the national currency which will coexist alongside the Myanmar Kyat (MMK) and have the same value.

DMMK shall be allocated, distributed and used via NUGPay. DMMK can be exchanged to MMK or other permitted foreign currencies and vice versa.

Here's the definition of usage in this agreement.

"Personal Information" means any or all of the information contained therein. This information refers to information that could be used to identify an individual, whether or not they are owned or used by an organization.

User means a person or an organization who registers on application and uses the service of NUGPay.

Services mean the transaction between NUGPay users and the exchange of DMMK to MMK or other permitted currencies.

NUGPay account means mobile wallet account which has been created for NUGPay App.

NUGPay hereafter is called "we", "our", "ours".

Terms and Conditions

  1. Minimum age must be 18 years old to register a NUGPay application.
  2. Users shall read and understand the requirements, guidelines and privacy policies of Application before using it. If the users do not have a clear understanding of the terms and conditions of this service, they may contact Customer Service via Messenger Chatbot on the NUGPay Official Facebook page.
  3. Users understand and agree that we collect, retain, process, and share personal data when users visit our websites and services. These personal information management will be complied with our NUGPay privacy policy. If users need more details about users’ protection and data collection information, users may read at www.nugpay.app under the privacy policy section.
  4. Users will receive a 12 worded login key and have to create their own 6 digit PIN while activating the account. The login key and the PIN must be kept confidential.
  5. If a user forgets the Login Key and/or PIN, they should immediately notify NUGPay Customer Service.
  6. Users are responsible to inform NUGPay immediately via the Facebook page or customer service hotline in case the NUGPay logged-in device is lost or stolen.
  7. Users acknowledge that NUGPay may change the exchange rates once a week. Users need to know the exchange rates of the NUGPay website at www.nugpay.app in order to get the services.
  8. In addition, NUGPay reserves the rights to cancel all or any of its services upon prior one month's notice to the User.
  9. Users must not use the NUGPay Services for fraudulent, criminal purposes or money laundering and financing of terrorist organizations, or illegal and unethical activities.
  10. If a user is found to be using NUGPay's services for illegal purposes, especially financial matters, the Service will be terminated immediately. NUGPay has nothing to do with the actions taken by the related organizations.
  11. NUGPay reserves the right to terminate or terminate its Services immediately without prior notice to the User if it is found to be in breach of Articles 9 and 10 of these Terms and Conditions.
  12. If a user is not satisfied with NUGPay service, in case of any dispute with the relevant agent, the user can contact Customer Service through NUGPay Facebook page or Website.
  13. NUGPay's Terms and Conditions of Use are subject to applicable laws and regulations applicable to the applicable laws of Myanmar.
